A check to provide an Alma College scholarship for a student who is proficient in Scottish Arts is presented by Allen Stevens, President of the Alma Highland Festival to Dr. Jack Bowman, Director of the Alma College Kiltie Band. Also participating in the presentation ceremony are Orville Church, immediate past President of the festival and Dr. Robert Swanson, President of the college.
