Abstract:
A Republic Truck plowing snow in Alma, MI, near the old Junior High School. Republic Trucks were made in Alma. Republic Motor Truck Company made trucks in Alma from approximately 1913 - 1929. They were a major supplier of "Liberty Trucks" in WWI. In 1918, one out of every 9 trucks in the US was made by Republic.
